Pakistan's performance started to deteriorate when they lost the Test series at home against Bangladesh. Then, after a long period of poor performance, they lost the ODI series against New Zealand at home. Then they lost at home against South Africa and even failed to create competition in every match. Pakistan has lost every match in the Champions Trophy at home, and even lost very badly. There are total 3 squads in this competition: Afghanistan A, Sri Lanka A and Ireland A. These three squads will participate in total 6 matches and also 1 final match in end. Total of 6 matches, first match was finished today among Ireland A squad against Sri Lanka A squad. Sri Lanka A squad was begun match first with batting inning and their batter members managed to collect 264 scores after playing 50 overs and lost all batter wickets. Thanks to Sahan Arachchige, who played amazing long inning with collecting 78 scores off 96 deliveries. On other hand, Ireland A squad was unable to defeat Sri Lanka squad and they fell short by 45 scores. Dushan Hemantha and Tharindu Rathnayake both played important role in victory and both picked up 4 and 4 batter wickets.

UAE A Team Tri Series is good chance for new players to show their skills. Match between Sri Lanka A and Ireland A was impressive especially Sahan Arachchige 78 runs from 96 balls which helped Sri Lanka A score 264 runs. Dushan Hemantha and Tharindu Rathnayake bowled well too taking 4 wickets each and helping Sri Lanka A win by 45 runs. This series is great opportunity for players to learn and get noticed and possibly get chosen for main teams. It will be interesting to see how Afghanistan A plays and which players do well.  series has six matches and final which will push these young players to do their best. Is anyone here in ODI thread who familiar with this newly start competition with the name of UAE A-Team Tri Series (OD).

There are total 3 squads in this competition: Afghanistan A, Sri Lanka A and Ireland A. These three squads will participate in total 6 matches and also 1 final match in end. Total of 6 matches, first match was finished today among Ireland A squad against Sri Lanka A squad. Sri Lanka A squad was begun match first with batting inning and their batter members managed to collect 264 scores after playing 50 overs and lost all batter wickets. Thanks to Sahan Arachchige, who played amazing long inning with collecting 78 scores off 96 deliveries. On other hand, Ireland A squad was unable to defeat Sri Lanka squad and they fell short by 45 scores. Dushan Hemantha and Tharindu Rathnayake both played important role in victory and both picked up 4 and 4 batter wickets.
