When I go to my "History" tab then a couple of previous transactions are listed.

Two lines contain in the "EUR Value" column a value of "No Data".
All other lines (before and after) show the corresponding Euro values for the bitcoins.

Why is "No data" shown?

How can I "repair" this?

BTW: Is the Euro value calculated for the time the Bitcoin transaction was performed (in the past) or always with the current exchange rate?

As long as you are making use of ELECTRUM, you don't get the current value of sent or received bitcoins the value you find there in fiat is the Value of those coins as at the time they were sent or received. With that being said, the NO DATA you are seeing is an error probably from your end. To fix that you need to check out your internet connection.

I've experienced the same problem sometimes when internet connection is quite bad . That no data message simply means that your wallet has no fully and successfully synced to the Blockchain and as a result you are not getting the most recent data associated with your wallet.

You can go into Preferences -> Fiat and try to change the Source to a different provider.

Yes. History rates do not show, same problem in USD.

That no data message simply means that your wallet has no fully and successfully synced to the Blockchain and as a result you are not getting the most recent data associated with your wallet.
This is wrong.
Since OP can see the transactions, the wallet is synced.
Take note the blockchain doesn't contain the fiat value of coins at all. Electrum gets the fiat value of bitcoin at different times from some third parties and then calculate the value of coins itself.

Changing the source of fiat value (as mentioned by Mitchell) should solve the problem.

It's the previous value at the transaction's timestamp.
That column will only show if you ticked "Download historical rates" in "Tools->Preferences->Fiat" settings, by the way.

Why is "No data" shown?
Electrum failed to fetch the historical rates for those particular transactions.

Ref: github.com/spesmilo/electrum/blob/master/electrum/exchange_rate.py#L802-L803

How can I "repair" this?
Some price API sources that Electrum use cannot fetch rates on particular dates
But since it's a third-party API, the reason can be anything like problem with the data they sent to your client or related to your connection to those sources, etc.
Try "Bitfinex" source for EUR, it works on old and new transactions at my end.

Ok, thank you.

"CoinBase" was the unreliable Data Source Provider.

I switch to Bitfinex and the problem was solved.

You have many options in the drop-down list for Fiat Source and if you have problem if fiat value display with one source, switch to another or other sources, before your problem is solved.

Code:
BitFinex
BitPay
BitStamp
BitcoinAverage
BitcoinVenezuela
BlockchainInfo
CoinCap
Coindesk
CoinGecko
Coinbase
Kraken
Yadio

I am not sure why they don't add Coinmarketcap to the list, but I would like to use the price source from Coingecko or Coinmarketcap, if they add it in future.

Exchanges can die or close their service and disappear but third party price tracker like Coinmarketcap or Coingecko will more likely stay with us.

I am not sure why they don't add Coinmarketcap to the list, but I would like to use the price source from Coingecko or Coinmarketcap, if they add it in future.
Here's why:
Coinmarketcap's free/paid API requires a registered API key per user with limited calls per month and very low hourly limit.
While it's possible to set an API key for Electrum clients to use, the limited API calls and hourly limit will not be sufficient for its userbase.

You have many options in the drop-down list for Fiat Source and if you have problem if fiat value display with one source, switch to another or other sources, before your problem is solved.
Actually, he can only use 5 from that list since he's using "Download historical rates" setting.
