USD Acquisition price and USD capital gains stopped when upgrading to 4.0.2

as the subject says - the USD Acquisition price and USD capital gains stopped when I upgraded to 4.0.2 - I do have it turned on and have tried all the sources.



It worked perfectly before the upgrade - which I tried to downgrade but an older version of electrum cannot open my wallet.dat files

It seems that they currently disable it because I have that option before on the low version of Electrum but right now I can't able to enable it in the settings.

If you have a seed phrase you can use it to recover your wallet if the wallet file doesn't work on low version of Electrum.

First, check "show history rates". After that, you will be able to check "show capital gains in history".

mine are enabled - you did see my screen shot above right? I have the dark theme here it is in the light theme.



I dont have a problem turning it on/off - I just dont get anything either way and it doesnt matter the source, none work.

you should always check the source code first, everything is there to see. you don't have to really understand python either (i don't!).

The issue was reported by someone months ago but the devs never replied: Issue: 6370
For CoinGecko's API's response to history rates, it seems to be working when I test it, other sources won't work for Electrum either.
So, the "source" might not be the culprit.

There's nothing else you can do but to wait for the developers to respond to the issue.
