Predictable or unpredictable, betting against Pakistan in T-20 is not wise move unless they are playing against India. They are pretty solid team in T-20 format so i'm not expecting great things from the Proteas. They only had some chance in Test but they lost that too so from now on it should be easy for Pakistan.

I thought about betting for South Africa before the match but then after seeing the team i placed a bet on Pakistan and they played well but in the end it was a close match even though South Africa lost crucial wickets in the end. Even i am not expecting any great performance from South Africa but who knows if someone comes up with extra ordinary performance so that they could get a good price for the upcoming IPL auctions .

The last over by the pakistani bowler was terrible and the match would have been lost    
The match should have been won convincingly by the Pakistani team but their unpredictable nature turned the match in to a nail-biting one and eventually finally we won. After wining the test series, it is a good start for the T20s also.

I did not watch the match live but i thought about betting but stayed away as i was not sure about the players in both the teams as i am not an avid follower of South African or Pakistan team but i know their best players and i could see anyone from South Africa. I know Pakistan always produces wonders and that is what we saw in the final overs  .

It worked out well in the end. 19 runs were needed from the last over and South Africa couldn't make it. Both Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf had bowled out their quota (they had bowled the 19th and 18th overs respectively). Here I guess the captain did the best thing possible. By the end of the 17th over, 37 runs were needed with 6 wickets in hand and South Africa could have won the match if Faheem was given the 18th over. Babar used his best bowlers instead and that made sure that South Africa lost crucial wickets by the time Faheem came out to bowl.

Baber is a new captain and he will learn these things with time. However, the win is a win so technically Pakistan is 1 up in the series. This should give more positivity to the team and they should try to win today 2nd T20 to put the series in their name.

Hendricks and Biljon back in the pavilion, the run rate is not big and so there is not much to worry, but they need to improve their performance as they always loose wickets during crucial situation and if Pakistan is able to pick a couple of wickets yet again then they will be under pressure. The smart move is to rotate the strike and win the match easily but they always make things difficult  .

30 Balls just 19 runs and two classi batsmen on crease like Miller and Klaasen mean now win is surely going to Chokers way and unpredictables need some good effort to win this series in tomorrow last match of this series very good win for them Pretorius was really on target with 5/17 with career best spell and match winning effort.

SA won comfortably in the end by 6 wickets and 22 balls to spare. SA bowlers stole the show today as restricting Pakistan to just 144/7 was the key. Rizwan innings of 51 on top and still restricting Pakistan under 150 itself shows how SA bowlers made a great comeback in the match. Pretorius should be the Player of the match today for his 5-wicket haul.

The two bowlers, who were picked to conform to the racial quota (Lutho Sipamla and Andile Phehlukwayo) conceded 60 runs in their 6 overs, while the others conceded 81 runs in 14 overs. Also, in the batting it was Pite van Biljon who guided them to victory while chasing the target and he doesn't have a regular spot in the paying XI.

First win for South Africa in this series and it came at a time when no one was expecting it. I was expecting a clean sweep by Pakistan after their 2-0 win of the test series and victory in the first T20I match. But all credit to the South African players for the fight back. If they could win the last T20 match, and thereby the series, it would be a real morale booster. I guess their next series is also against Pakistan (however, this time they will be the hosts and Pakistan will be the visiting side).

Pakistan started superbly in this final T20. Half of the South africa team in back in the pavilion with  less than 50 runs on the board. The way they are plating look like they won't be able to make even 100 runs. Pakistani bowlers are unplayable at the moment.
