Hey guys, free bets have been confirmed. We have 2 mBTC per round. So that means 1 mBTC for each pool in this round. Now those of you that are going to play can decide between the following options:
1. We do it as usual and reward yellow cap / highest scorer in each pool with 1 mBTC free bet
2. We rewards top 2 in each round. First takes .75 and .25 mBTC. I am leaning towards this option since BTC is now quite high and that seams like perfect split for me.

I think option 1 is the best, there won't be many of us, so what's the point of dividing the reward? I must say that the 1 mbtc free bet is very attractive, one win can pay for all the fees of the pool. Thanks to sponsors!
Those who have already studied the site can tell me if the rules are very different from the fantasy EPL? The FIFA site honestly annoys me, it is very counterintuitive.

This fantasy is much closer to UEFA/FIFA usual fantasy rules. Meaning you can switch captains and players between the days. IF you played WC, EURO or UCL Fantasy you should be familiar with 99% of it. If you played only EPL, take 5 minutes and read trough the rules.

And on the rewards structure, I think option 2 wouldn't be bad idea as it will motivate everyone to play their best for a possible reward from all the gameweeks ahead.

Yes of course I do look forward to that. Infact I wish I was really good at predicting and the likes of it very much like you are. However it seems I just can't beat that. Basically I'm not really that good at predicting so taking a bet on this may just be more of a losing streak for me even from the beginning anyways it would be very nice to stick around the discussions as they are pretty interesting.
World club championships are quite fun and the most thing I love about them is the spirit of sport it carries and how intriguing it is especially for those that have a big favourite for clubs.

Oh yes, I remembered because I took part in the fantasy European Championship. I'm just confused by the interface, for example, when I click on a profile, I get to a page where there is no "Edit" button, but there is one "Delete account" button. But yeah, I'll clarify the rules before making the picks, the first rounds will be decisive (in the group stage) - my theory is that whoever is the leader after the group stage will win the competition.

I guess you must really be new then haha. CWC is to me the shittiest least fun club competition in existence. It's really just now that the revamped format promises something a bit more competitive, so I'm glad Sportsbet is taking it on and giving it some love.

Basically more people in the pool means a slightly bigger rewards since there will be more buy ins and I will shift prize money slightly as well.

There is buy in addy in the OP so feel free to start paying those fees.
Unfortunately there is no way I can even estimate rewards without having close to final number of participants. As always all the money will be spent on the rewards and I will look to award top 20% or top 25% of the pool in top heavy distribution.

I am not interested in playing Fantasy pool, but I am thinking of joining the first Suprerbru pool.
This should not take a lot of time so I think I can squeeze in Fifa World Cup predictions.

It doesn't matter what you like more SuperBru or Fantasy (I hate Fantasy), but if you want to have all the perks you have to participate in everything. In the long run it's beneficial for everyone because the sponsors see the activity.

If it was a smaller buy-in then I'd probably agree. But it's 200$+ for a 1-month long competition, so giving the option to pick might actually get more players in.

Most of the participants get this money just for posting (those participants who do not wear signatures make up a tiny number and are an exception to the rules) for 2-3 weeks, right? Therefore, even if you did not win a single free bet (which is quite difficult as there are many side competitions for pool participants), did not get into the prizes, you are still not at a loss. And we all know that mathematically it is profitable to participate in pools. In general, it seems to me that we can be a little stricter and demand more reciprocity from the participants for the forum.
