i’ve tried adjusting fan speed % (and restarting each time).
on the s21+ this doesn’t seem to do much at all
going to 75% vs 50% vs 30% has no noticeable difference whatsoever

So i’ve been running a lot of S21+ 235Ts and I noticed a very annoying issue.
From time to time (usually around 9pm to 12am) they will start cycling fan speed from very low to very high over the course of about 30-45 seconds
This can last from a couple hours to 10 hours or until I decide to restart them… Either way they do finally go back to running steady RPM and humming like a kitten as they say.
Any ideas why this is happening?
The temperature is steady (21c), no real variables. It just stinks when they go from 3500 rpm all day, then all of the sudden start cycling fan speed up to 6000rpm then down and up and down and…
Btw, my S21 Pros do not have this issue at all.

Why wouldn't Slushpool err Braiins work with the S21+? I have been using Slush since 2018... with S9s, S17s, and now S21s... I've never had a problem setting up new miners. I set up my S21 Pros about 2 months ago using Slush, and that worked without any issues. Why would the S21+ units not work with it? Do I need to switch pools? Thanks again!! |

Yes, if it can at least display the logs, use the code tag here # and post the logs from the miners so folks can actually see what's up with them...
If you can't do that, reflash the firmware.

I recently bought a few S21+ to go with my existing S21 PROs.
However, for the life of me I cannot get them to start hashing.
The Dashboard is all blank. The settings are aimed at my Pool and it even shows up using IP Name. The fans are on full speed (very loud), no Fault or Normal light on...
I've done soft and hard reset.
Any ideas?
